Coruscant (pronounced /'kɔɹəsɑnt/), also known as Jewel of the Core Worlds, or Imperial Center during the rule of the Galactic Empire, was an ecumenopolis—a city-covered planet, collectively known as Imperial City— in the Coruscant system of the Core Worlds.
