Media Platform Account Manager - Milan

The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team keeps Google growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's expanding global base of advertisers, publishers and users in more than 40 languages, and providing them with the highest levels of service. DoubleClick, a Google company, enables top marketers, publishers and agencies to utilize DoubleClick's expertise in ad serving, rich media, video, and affiliate marketing to help them make the most of the digital medium. We are looking for sharp, analytical minds that can solve complex problems, develop relationships with key clients in the ever-evolving display medium, and serve as part of a high-energy team that is working with the world's largest publishers and advertising agencies and pushing the boundaries of the online ad serving industry.

The role: Media Platform Account Manager

The Media Platform Account Manager provides both the management power and the development engine to drive revenue generation through existing customers. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong performance in a commercial partner management role and/or business development. You are a self-starters who has graduated from a leading graduate program and/or a top-tier university, who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Hit revenues target on his/her customer portfolio (top marketers/publishers and advertising agencies from Italy) by maximizing adoption/usage of DoubleClick solutions.
• Develop strategic account plans for the customers within his/her portfolio, including growth opportunities identification, action planning, revenue forecast.
• Create relationships within the customers organization at all levels including senior executives, direct and indirect users of the product, and usage/repurchase decision makers.
• Be the first point of contact for customers around all key areas (training, product enhancement, global/regional campaign,…) and lead cross-functional effort to identify and solve any roadblock.
• Identify potential up-sell/new customers opportunities, structure proposals (including offer, pricing, legal and operational implications) working with internal support functions, negotiate and close deals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA strongly preferred.
• Significant work experience, including experience in a partner management role and/or successful high ticket sales in the SW industry or online market.
• Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building relationships with top tier clients.
• Strong influencing, communication and negotiation skills at senior level.
• Must be extremely well organized, analytical and capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests simultaneously.
• Fluency in Italian and English required, other EU languages ability a plus.
