DISPOSITIVO PARA EL CIERRE DE BOTELLAS
D E S C R I P C I Ó N
La invención se refiere a un dispositivo para el cierre de botellas, del tipo que tienen un cuello con un reborde anular exterior, definiendo el cuello un eje longitudinal y un borde superior, siendo el dispositivo apto para adoptar una posición montada sobre el cuello y siendo el dispositivo del tipo que comprende: [a] un cuerpo principal, que comprende una parte anular, substancialmente paralela al borde superior en la posición montada, la parte anular disponiendo de una zona de borde exterior, y unas lengüetas, que están unidas a la zona de borde exterior de la parte anular, y que presentan una superficie interior, próxima al cuello en la posición montada, una superficie exterior, opuesta a la superficie interior, unas superficies laterales, y una superficie inferior, y [b] una camisa, con una parte substancialmente cilindrica hueca, siendo la parte substancialmente cilindrica apta para ser colocada sobre las lengüetas.
Son conocidos los cierres de botellas que se efectúan mediante una férrula de material metálico. Se emplean para cerrar toda clase de botellas o frascos que presentan un cuello con un reborde anular exterior en el borde superior del cuello. El reborde anular exterior suele tener su parte superior plana y enrasada con el borde superior del cuello y su parte inferior se une a la superficie lateral exterior del cuello en un punto intermedio de la misma. La férrula es una pieza metálica, que suele comprender una parte anular plana, y una parte cilindrica, unida a la parte anular plana por su extremo exterior y perpendicular a dicha parte anular plana. Al montar la férrula sobre la botella o frasco, la parte anular plana se apoya sobre el reborde anular exterior, o sobre una anilla elástica, cuya función es mejorar la estanqueidad del cierre y que se deposita, en este caso, sobre el reborde anular exterior. La parte anular plana queda, en cualquier caso, substancialmente paralela al extremo superior del reborde anular exterior. La parte cilindrica queda, entonces, rodeando exteriormente el reborde anular exterior. A continuación se precisa efectuar una operación que apriete dicha parte cilindrica contra el reborde anular exterior, deformándola y uniendo así la férrula a la botella.
Este proceso tiene una serie de desventajas, una de las cuales es su coste, tanto por los materiales empleados como por las operaciones necesarias para realizar el cerrado de una botella.
Asimismo existen unos dispositivos para el cierre de botellas, de material plástico, que comprenden una parte anular, que irá montada paralela al borde superior del cuello, unas lengüetas que cuelgan del borde exterior de la parte anular, y una camisa, substancialmente cilindrica y apta para deslizarse sobre las lengüetas. Cada lengüeta dispone de un resalte que, cuando la camisa se halla colocada sobre las lengüetas, queda posicionado justo debajo del reborde anular exterior.
Sin embargo las botellas de vidrio presentan una dificultad adicional, y es que presentan unas dispersiones de medidas geométricas (diámetro y ovalación del reborde anular exterior, diámetro y ovalación del cuello, concentricidad entre el cuello y el reborde anular exterior, anchura y altura del reborde anular exterior, paralelismo entre la cara superior e inferior de reborde anular exterior, etc.) muy grandes, por lo que se precisa de un dispositivo que, aparte de ser económico, sea capaz de absorber las dispersiones presentes en las botellas a tapar, manteniendo constante, sin embargo, la presión que se ejerce sobre la anilla o el elemento elástico que hace la estanqueidad.
En la presente memoria y reivindicaciones hemos usado el término botella para designar cualquier envase, que disponga de un cuello con un reborde anular exterior.
La presente invención tiene por objeto presentar un dispositivo para el cierre de botellas del tipo indicado al principio, caracterizado porque cada una de las lengüetas dispone de dos primeros resaltes, que sobresalen de la superficie interior, y que están adyacentes a las superficies laterales, y porque la superficie exterior presenta una parte sobresaliente. Efectivamente, un dispositivo de este tipo presenta, por un lado, las ventajas económicas de los dispositivos de tipo plástico y con lengüetas, y, por otro lado, presenta unas mejoras geométricas que le permiten absorber mejor las dispersiones de las botellas de vidrio que se pretende tapar. Por un lado cada lengüeta presenta dos primeros resaltes en su superficie interior. En el caso de desear hacer contacto con una superficie irregular siempre es mejor disponer de puntos de contacto con una superficie de contacto pequeña, y en mayor cantidad, que de puntos de contacto con una gran superficie de contacto, y, a cambio, en menor cantidad. Ello es debido a que en el caso de superficies grandes, el contacto finalmente se realiza en algunas pequeñas zonas de la gran superficie, quedando el resto de la gran superficie en voladizo y, por tanto, sin aprovechar. Si, para evitar este inconveniente, se diseña la superficie grande de un material blando, para que se deforme y se adapte a la superficie irregular, se corre el riesgo que posteriormente ese contacto se afloje. Por lo tanto el disponer de dos primeros resaltes, con puntos de contacto pequeños, por cada lengüeta en lugar de un único primer resalte, con un punto de contacto mayor, representa una mejora para adaptarse a las dispersiones presentes en las botellas a tapar. Cada lengüeta dispone, además, de una parte sobresaliente en la cara opuesta, posicionada entre los dos primeros resaltes. Al colocar la camisa sobre las lengüetas, la camisa está en contacto con estas partes sobresalientes, sobre las que ejerce una presión que hace cerrar las lengüetas alrededor del reborde anular exterior. Esta geometría obliga a soportar a la lengüeta una fuerza de flexión, donde la distancia entre el punto de aplicación de la fuerza, es decir el vértice de la parte sobresaliente, y el punto de aplicación de la reacción, es decir los primeros resaltes es aproximadamente igual a la mitad de la anchura de la lengüeta, generándose así un "efecto de ballesta" en sentido transversal de la lengüeta que está distribuido a lo largo de toda la longitud de los primeros resaltes y de la parte sobresaliente. Esta forma de trabajar de la lengüeta, con este "efecto de ballesta" en sentido transversal de la lengüeta, es asimismo novedosa. De esta forma se consigue obtener una tensión en el dispositivo a lo largo de todo el perímetro exterior del reborde anular exterior que ejerce una fuerza más o menos constante sobre el borde superior del cuello, donde habitualmente se coloca una junta elástica, lo que mejora la estanqueidad del cierre. La parte sobresaliente está preferentemente substancialmente centrada entre ambas superficies laterales, y puede ser un tabique más o menos fino que sobresale perpendicularmente a superficie exterior de la lengüeta, como ya se describirá más adelante, o puede ser un abombamiento de la propia superficie exterior, o al menos de una parte de ella. Este abombamiento conforma una superficie convexa que, preferentemente, se inicia en un punto intermedio de la superficie exterior y se extiende alejándose de la zona de borde exterior y del eje longitudinal.
Preferentemente el abombamiento de la superficie exterior se corresponde con una parte rehundida en la superficie interior. El abombamiento se conforma ventajosamente como una superficie cilindrica o una superficie cónica. Esta geometría mejora el comportamiento a flexión de la lengüeta.
La parte sobresaliente se extiende preferentemente hasta la superficie inferior de la lengüeta. Otra forma preferente de realización de la invención se obtiene cuando los primeros resaltes son substancialmente unas paredes con un espesor variable, medido en sentido angular respecto del eje longitudinal, con una primera base, un primer canto superior, un primer extremo lateral inferior y un primer extremo lateral superior, donde los primeros resaltes se extienden desde la superficie inferior hasta un punto intermedio de la superficie interior, y donde el espesor aumenta desde un valor mínimo en el primer extremo lateral inferior hasta un valor máximo en el primer extremo lateral superior. Es particularmente ventajoso cuando la distancia entre la primera base y el primer canto superior, es creciente, alcanzando un valor máximo en un punto próximo al primer extremo lateral inferior.
Una forma preferente de realización adicional se obtiene cuando la parte sobresaliente conforma un segundo resalte, que sobresale de la superficie exterior, y que está substancialmente equidistante a ambas superficies laterales.
Otra forma preferente de realización se obtiene cuando los primeros resaltes son unas paredes alargadas, con la forma de un triángulo alargado, lo que garantiza el contacto con el reborde anular exterior en una pluralidad de casos en los que se den posiciones relativas entre ambos elementos que sean muy dispares: reborde anular exterior más alejado, más próximo, más elevado o más bajo que las posiciones teóricas ideales. La pared inclinada del triángulo, de mayor longitud que las dispersiones previsibles en la botella de vidrio, aseguran que se establecerá el contacto entre el reborde anular exterior y los primeros resaltes.
Es ventajoso que los primeros resaltes se deformen parcialmente en la zona de contacto con el reborde anular exterior, para asegurar que, a lo largo del perímetro exterior del reborde anular exterior, se establece el contacto con todos los primeros resaltes y se asegura el anclaje del dispositivo sobre el cuello de la botella. Al presentar estos primeros resaltes una sección de deformación relativamente pequeña, se pueden elegir materiales para los resaltes (que, usualmente, coincidirán con los materiales de toda el cuerpo principal) que tengan una dureza relativamente elevada sin que ello signifique que la fuerza de montaje de la camisa sobre las lengüetas alcance valores excesivos.
Preferentemente el segundo resalte es también una pared alargada, lo que mejora la distribución de esfuerzos mediante el "efecto de ballesta" anteriormente citado, y preferentemente la pared alargada es asimismo triangular. Ello permite que la fuerza que se aplica sobre los primeros resaltes cuando, durante la operación de montaje, se desliza la camisa por encima de las lengüetas, lo haga de una forma progresiva, lo que provoca un centrado de todo el dispositivo sobre el reborde anular exterior del cuello de la botella durante el proceso de montaje. Otras ventajas y características de la invención se aprecian a partir de la siguiente descripción, en la que, sin ningún carácter limitativo, se relata un modo preferente de realización de la invención, haciendo mención de los dibujos que se acompañan. Un dispositivo para el cierre de botellas de acuerdo con la invención comprende un cuerpo principal 1 y una camisa 3. La botella dispone de un cuello 5 con un borde superior 7, donde presenta un reborde anular exterior 9. El cuello 5 es cilindrico de sección transversal circular, y define un eje longitudinal 11.
El cuerpo principal 1 tiene una parte anular 13 que, al montarse el dispositivo sobre el cuello 5, queda paralela al borde superior 7 del cuello 5, y cuyo eje es coincidente con el eje longitudinal 1 1. La parte anular 13 presenta una cara inferior 15 que, al montarse el dispositivo sobre el cuello 5 queda encarada con el borde superior 7 del cuello 5, una cara superior 17, opuesta a la cara inferior 15, y una zona de borde exterior 19, de donde sobresalen unas lengüetas 21 , por el lado de la cara inferior 15, y distribuidas uniformemente alrededor del perímetro exterior de la parte anular 13. Las lengüetas 21 disponen de una superficie interior 23, una superficie exterior 25, dos superficies laterales 27, una superficie inferior 29 y una zona de unión 31 , por la que las lengüetas 21 están unidas a la parte anular 13. Cuando el dispositivo se halla en posición montada, la superficie interior 23 queda encarada y próxima al cuello 5 de la botella.
Adicionalmente el cuerpo principal 1 puede presentar unos elementos adicionales que desempeñan otras funciones ajenas a la invención. En los ejemplos mostrados en las Figs., el cuerpo principal 1 presenta una zona de fijación 35, que sirve para fijar una bomba pulverizadora 37 de líquidos.
Cada lengüeta 21 dispone de dos primeros resaltes 41 , que se hallan cada uno de ellos junto a una de las superficies laterales 27. En la Fig. 15 se muestra una vista lateral de una lengüeta 21 , en la que se aprecian claramente la presencia de un primer resalte 41 , dispuesto sobre la superficie interior 23 de la lengüeta 21 , y un segundo resalte 43, dispuesto sobre la superficie exterior 25 de la lengüeta 21. El primer resalte 41 es una pared alargada, como se puede apreciar en la Fig. 13, y comprende una primera base 45, por la que el primer resalte 41 está unido a la lengüeta 21 , un primer canto superior 47, un primer extremo laterales inferior 48, junto a la superficie inferior 29 de la lengüeta 21 , y un extremo lateral superior 50, en un punto intermedio de la superficie interior 23. Los primeros resaltes 41 quedan, cuando el dispositivo se ha montado sobre la botella, substancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal 1 1.
La parte sobresaliente 43 se halla en la parte central de la superficie exterior 25 de la lengüeta 21 , y se extiende aproximadamente centrada entre las dos superficies laterales 27, tal como se muestra en la
Fig. 2. La superficie interior 23 presenta una parte rehundida 44 que se corresponde con la parte sobresaliente 43.
Las Figs. 1 a 5 muestran un cuerpo principal 1 que dispone de ocho lengüetas 21 , sin embargo es posible realizar el objeto de la invención con otras cantidades de lengüetas 21 , como por ejemplo seis lengüetas 21 , tal como se muestra en la Fig. 6, doce lengüetas, tal como se muestra en la Fig. 14, etc. Asimismo es posible dotar al cuerpo principal 1 de un n° impar de lengüetas 21. En la Fig. 1 1 se muestra una vista lateral de una lengüeta 21, en la que se aprecian claramente la presencia de otro primer resalte 41 , dispuesto sobre la superficie interior 23 de la lengüeta 21. Este primer resalte 41 es una pared alargada, que tiene un espesor variable, medido en sentido angular respecto del eje longitudinal 11 , tal como se puede apreciar en las Fígs. 7 y 10. El primer resalte 41 comprende una primera base 45, por la que el primer resalte 41 está unido a la lengüeta 21 , un primer canto superior 47, un primer extremo lateral inferior 48 y un primer extremo lateral superior 50. El extremo lateral inferior 48 está junto a la superficie inferior 29 de la lengüeta 21 y el extremo lateral superior 50 está en un punto intermedio de la superficie interior 23. La zona se unión entre el primer resalte 41 y la superficie interior 23 está redondeada, de tal manera que la superficie interior 23 se une sin solución de continuidad con la cara lateral del primer resalte 41. Los primeros resaltes 41 quedan, cuando el dispositivo se ha montado sobre la botella, substancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal 11.
En la Fig. 11 se observa también que la sección transversal del primer resalte 41 tiene la forma aproximada de un triángulo apoyado sobre la superficie interior 23, y que tiene el vértice muy próximo a su extremo inferior, de tal manera que la distancia entre la primera base 45 y el primer canto superior 47, es creciente, alcanzando un valor máximo en un punto próximo al primer extremo lateral inferior 48.
El segundo resalte 43 mostrado en las Figs. 12 y 15 es asimismo una pared alargada, y comprende también una segunda base 51 , por la que el segundo resalte 43 está unido a la lengüeta 21 , un segundo canto superior 53, y dos segundos extremos laterales 55, uno de ellos junto a la superficie inferior 29 de la lengüeta 21 y el otro en un punto intermedio de la superficie exterior 25. Los segundos resaltes 43 también quedan, cuando el dispositivo se ha montado sobre la botella, substancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal 11.
En la Fig. 13 se aprecia que cada lengüeta 21 dispone de dos primeros resaltes 41 , que se hallan cada uno de ellos junto a una de las superficies laterales 27. En cambio, el segundo resalte 43 se halla en la parte central de la superficie exterior 25 de la lengüeta 21 , aproximadamente equidistante a las dos superficies laterales 27, tal como se muestra en la Fig. 12.
La camisa 3 comprende una parte substancialmente cilindrica hueca 39, apta para deslizarse sobre las lengüetas 21. En posición montada la parte substancialmente cilindrica hueca 39 queda concéntrica con el eje longitudinal 11 y aprieta las lengüetas 21 contra el reborde anular exterior 9.
Cuando se monta la camisa 3 sobre las lengüetas 21, la camisa 3 empuja a las lengüetas 21 contra el reborde anular exterior 9 a través de las partes sobresalientes 43 o los segundos resaltes 43. Al topar la lengüeta 21 con el reborde anular exterior 9, se deforma parcialmente la zona del primer canto superior 47 de los primeros resaltes 41 , que queda curvado envolviendo parcialmente la parte inferior del reborde anular exterior 9 y conformando unos ganchos que anclan el dispositivo al reborde anular exterior 9, tal como se aprecia en la sección transversal parcial de la Fig. 17. Adicionalmente, al hallarse los primeros resaltes 41 apretados contra el reborde anular exterior 9 y, simultáneamente, la parte sobresaliente 43 o el segundo resalte 43 apretado contra la camisa 3, Jo-
queda la lengüeta 21 sometida a una tensión de flexión, en sentido transversal, que tiende a curvar la lengüeta 21 en sentido transversal, tal como se muestra en la Fig. 16, y que presenta la ventaja de que este estado tensionado se mantiene después de montado el dispositivo, lo que garantiza mejor la estanqueidad del cierre durante la vida del producto.
En las Figs. 18 a 21 se muestra una secuencia de montaje de un dispositivo para el cierre de botellas de acuerdo con la invención.
En la Fig. 18 se observa un dispositivo, con su cuerpo principal 1 y su camisa 3. El cuerpo principal 1 lleva montado, adicionalmente, una bomba pulverizadora 37 de líquidos, y una junta de goma 57. La camisa 3 está parcialmente montada sobre el cuerpo principal 1.
En la Fig. 19 se muestra el conjunto de la Fig. 18 apoyado sobre un cuello 5 de una botella, que presenta un reborde anular exterior 9.
En la Fig. 20 se observa que la camisa 3 ya ha descendido más, tapando parcialmente las lengüetas 21. Los primeros cantos superiores 47 de los primeros resaltes 41 de las lengüetas 21 ya han comenzado a deformarse.
Finalmente, en la Fig. 21 se representa el estado final, con la camisa 3 totalmente bajada. A la bomba pulverizadora 37 de líquidos se le ha añadido un tapón de accionamiento 59.

Claims

R E I V I N D I C A C I O N E S
1.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas, que tienen un cuello
(5) con un reborde anular exterior (9), definiendo dicho cuello (5) un eje longitudinal (11 ) y un borde superior (7), siendo dicho dispositivo apto para adoptar una posición montada sobre dicho cuello (5) y siendo dicho dispositivo del tipo que comprende: [a] un cuerpo principal (1), que comprende una parte anular (13), substancialmente paralela a dicho borde superior (7) en dicha posición montada, dicha parte anular (13) disponiendo de una zona de borde exterior (19), y unas lengüetas (21), que están unidas a dicha zona de borde exterior (19) de dicha parte anular (13), y que presentan una superficie interior (23), próxima a dicho cuello (5) en dicha posición montada, una superficie exterior (25), opuesta a dicha superficie interior (23), unas superficies laterales (27), y una superficie inferior (29), y [b] una camisa (3), con una parte substancialmente cilindrica 39 hueca, siendo dicha parte substanciaimente cilindrica 39 apta para ser colocada sobre dichas lengüetas (21 ), caracterizado porque cada una de dichas lengüetas (21 ) dispone de dos primeros resaltes (41 ), que sobresalen de dicha superficie interior (23), y que están adyacentes a dichas superficies laterales (27), y porque dicha superficie exterior (25) presenta una parte sobresaliente (43)
2.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según la reivindicación 1 , caracterizado porque dicha parte sobresaliente (43) está substancialmente centrada entre ambas superficies laterales (27).
3.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según una de las reivindicaciones 1 ó 2, caracterizado porque dicha superficie interior (23) presenta una parte rehundida (44) que se corresponde con dicha parte sobresaliente (43).
4.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según una de las reivindicaciones 1 ó 2, caracterizado porque dicha parte sobresaliente (43) conforma una superficie convexa que se inicia en un punto intermedio de dicha superficie exterior (25) y se extiende alejándose de dicha zona de borde exterior (19) y de dicho eje longitudinal (1 1 ).
5.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según por lo menos una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, caracterizado porque dicha parte sobresaliente (43) se extiende hasta dicha superficie inferior (29).
6.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según una de las reivindicaciones 4 ó 5, caracterizado porque dicha superficie convexa es cilindrica.
7.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según una de las reivindicaciones 4 ó 5, caracterizado porque dicha superficie convexa es cónica.
8.- Dispositivo para el cierre de botellas según por lo menos una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 7, caracterizado porque dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) son substancialmente unas paredes con un espesor variable, medido en sentido angular respecto de dicho eje longitudinal (11), con una primera base (45), un primer canto superior (47), un primer extremo lateral inferior (48) y un primer extremo lateral superior (50), donde dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) se extienden desde dicha superficie inferior (29) hasta un punto intermedio de dicha superficie interior (23), y donde dicho espesor aumenta desde un valor mínimo en dicho primer extremo lateral inferior (48) hasta un valor máximo en dicho primer extremo lateral superior (50).
9.- Dispositivo según por lo menos una de la reivindicaciones 1 a 7, caracterizado porque dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) son substancialmente unas paredes alargadas, con una primera base (45), un primer canto superior (47), un primer extremo lateral inferior (48), y un primer extremo lateral superior (50), siendo dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) substancialmente paralelos a dicho eje longitudinal (11 ) en dicha posición montada, y extendiéndose dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) desde dicha superficie inferior (29) hasta un punto intermedio de dicha superficie interior (23).
10.- Dispositivo según por lo menos una de las reivindicaciones 1 a
9, caracterizado porque la distancia entre dicha primera base (45) y dicho primer canto superior (47), es creciente, alcanzando un valor máximo en un punto próximo a dicho primer extremo lateral inferior (48).
1 1.- Dispositivo según por lo menos una de las reivindicaciones 1 y 8 a 10, caracterizado porque dicha parte sobresaliente conforma un segundo resalte (43), que sobresale de dicha superficie exterior (25), y que está substancialmente equidistante a ambas superficies laterales (27).
12.- Dispositivo según la reivindicación 11 , caracterizado porque dichos segundos resaltes (43) son substancialmente unas paredes alargadas, con una segunda base (51 ), un segundo canto superior (53) y dos segundos extremos laterales (55), siendo dichos segundos resaltes (43) substancialmente paralelos a dicho eje longitudinal (11) en dicha posición montada, y extendiéndose dichos segundos resaltes (43) desde dicha superficie inferior (29) hasta un punto intermedio de dicha superficie exterior (25).
13.- Dispositivo según la reivindicación 12, caracterizado porque la distancia entre dicha segunda base (51 ) y dicho segundo canto superior
(53), es creciente, alcanzando un valor máximo en un punto próximo a dicho segundo extremo lateral (55) adyacente a dicha superficie inferior
(29).
14.- Dispositivo según por lo menos una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 13, caracterizado porque dichos primeros resaltes (41 ) son aptos para deformarse al ser apretados contra dicho reborde anular exterior (9), durante el proceso de montaje de dicho dispositivo en dicho cuello (5).
