May 2021 Haul #2 NARS

Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m having another pretty good day. I woke up to another package so I figured I’d haul it today. All the products I’m haul are directly from the NARS website.

NARS RADIANCE PRIMER SPF 35 ($36 for 30 mL/ 1 fl oz on their website… also at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as A RADIANT PRIMER THAT PREPARES SKIN FOR MAKEUP APPLICATION BY INSTANTLY REVIVING DULL, FATIGUED SKIN AND IMPROVING VITALITY OVER TIME. PROLONGS AND ENHANCES THE LOOK OF MAKEUP.

First Impressions: Firstly this primer has a herbal scent that is a little off putting, however it does dissipate quickly. It’s a gel formula that is super creamy and really is pretty however I don’t know that the glow is strong enough to show through foundation. I’ll have to test that out and get back to you.

NARS THE MULTIPLE ($39 for 14 g/ 0.5 oz on their website… also at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as THE ORIGINAL MULTI-PURPOSE STICK FOR EYES, CHEEKS, LIPS AND BODY and comes in 8 shades plus 2 highlighter shades.

First Impressions: I chose the shade Portofino (shimmering coral). This cream product is super velvety and has just the perfect amount of pigment. I tested it on my lips and it is soft and hydrating. It did not set down so I think I’ll need to lightly set it with powder.

First Impressions: I chose the shade Copacabana (opalescent pink pearl highlight). It’s just as velvety as the color option and is super pretty on the skin. This one did not set down either but it’s also not sticky or so creamy that it slips around. I tested it on my eye lids and it gave a pretty wash of glint to the lids.

NARS SUNKISSED BRONZING CREAM *limited edition* ($38 for 10 g/ 0.67 oz on their website and at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as A LIMITED-EDITION CREAM-TO-POWDER BRONZING HYBRID WITH A SOFT-MATTE FINISH AND SUNKISSED WARMTH. It comes in 2 shades.

First Impressions: I chose the shade Casino (medium brown). At first I thought I wouldn’t like this bronzer because the gel formula felt a bit greasy but once I buffed it in it set to a light powdery finish. The shade a chose is perfect… not to grey/ not to orange.

NARS AUDACIOUS LIPSTICK ($34 for 4.2 g/ 0.14 oz on their website and at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as LIPSTICK SO SHAMELESSLY SEDUCTIVE IN TOUCH AND TEXTURE THE SENSATION IS AUDACIOUS. GLIDES ON LIKE SATIN WITH SINGLE-STROKE COVERAGE IN A SPECTRUM OF SHADES (29 shades to be exact.) I chose the shade Juliette (pink coral).

First Impressions I have been dying to try this lipstick formula but never pulled the trigger because I was waiting to get my hands on this shade. This coral is super pretty, the formula is super creamy and highly pigmented.

NARS AIR MATTE LIP COLOR *limited edition* ($26 for 7.5 mL/ 0.24 oz on their website and at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as INNOVATIVE NEW FORMULA GLIDES SEAMLESSLY ONTO LIPS FOR AIRY, LONGWEAR MATTE LIP COLOR WITH A COMFORTABLE FEEL. LIMITED EDITION. It comes in 10 shades, I wanted the coral shade, Knockout but it was sold out so I chose the shade Joyride (warm pink).

First Impressions: I think this formula is so heavenly!! It’s velvety smooth and hydrating.

NARS LIQUID BLUSH *sample* ($30 for 0.51fl oz on their website and at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as A RUSH OF NATURAL-LOOKING COLOR IN A NEW, LIQUID BLUSH FORMULA THAT BUILDS EASILY, BLENDS EFFORTLESSLY. It comes in 4 shades (this sample is in the icon shade Orgasm, sheer, warm pink with golden shimmer).

First Impressions: I never really was interested in this product because I thought it would be too sheer , however after testing it I am in love. It’s very liquidity but the pigment is perfect for a light makeup summer day.

NARS POWERMATTE LIP PIGMENT *sample* ($28 for .018 oz on their website and at Ulta and Sephora) is billed as A HIGHLY PIGMENTED, FULL COVERAGE LIQUID LIPSTICK THAT PROVIDES LONG-LASTING, COMFORTABLE MATTE COLOR. It comes in 25 shades, the shade of the sample is American Girl (chestnut rose).

First Impressions : This is a super liquidity product with major slip with great pigmentation. I’m not a fan of this color but I think I will pick up the shade Call Me (coral) when it’s back in stock.
