Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has a small patch of fading at the base of the spine and is otherwise bright and without loss or tears. An excellent example of the American professor and economist's profound and influential analysis of the impact of nuclear weapons on diplomacy and international relations. Addressing the concept of deterrence, Schelling considers the ways in which military capabilities—real or imagined—are used as bargaining power. The author was joint recipient of 2005 Nobel Prize in Economics (shared with Robert Aumann) for "having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis".
