1983 Honda CX650 Turbo

This 1983 Honda CX650 Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 674cc V-twin paired with a 5-speed transmission and was purchased by the seller out of Idaho two years ago. Subsequent work included replacement of the front and rear master cylinders, fork seals, tires, battery, and spark plugs as well as an oil and filter change. The front and rear calipers were also rebuilt and stainless steel brake lines were added. This CX650 shows 13k miles and is sold with service receipts and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The CX650 was the final evolution of the turbocharged CX500 and was only available for one model year. Finished in white with red and blue striping, this example retains factory-style bodywork, wheels, and seat upholstery. A scrape on the right fairing is noted along with a chip on the left rear turn signal.

The fork seals were replaced, both brake calipers were rebuilt, and Galfer stainless steel brake lines were added in March 2018. Factory mag wheels wear replacement Pirelli Sport Demon tires.

Instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, temperature and fuel gauges, and a digital clock. The fuel gauge is noted to work sporadically, and the 5-digit odometer reads 13k miles.

The turbocharged 674cc V-twin was factory rated at 100 horsepower and features liquid cooling and fuel injection. A 5-speed transmission transfers power to the rear wheel via shaft drive. The seller has replaced the battery, spark plugs, both master cylinders, and engine oil in March 2018, and receipts for the work will be provided to the new owner.
