This Plymouth Prowler got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1999 Plymouth Prowler is said to have remained with its original owner until the current owner’s August 2021 acquisition, and it now has 3,400 miles. It is finished in Prowler Purple with flame pinstripes over Agate leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes staggered-diameter Billet Specialties wheels, a black convertible soft top, a Borla exhaust system, air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD changer. This Prowler is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature and accessories, removed factory parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.
The car is finished in Prowler Purple and features flame-style pinstriping said to have been performed by Mitchell Kim in 2004. The front fenders and bumper guards have been removed, and other exterior details include split rear bumpers with integrated lights as well dual exhaust outlets and a black manually operated convertible top that stows in the rear-hinged trunk. Billet Specialties wheels measure 17″ up front and 20″ out back and are mounted with Goodyear Eagle GS-D tires that show date codes from 1997. The suspension utilizes coilovers mounted inboard of the narrow front bodywork, and braking is from four-wheel ventilated discs. The removed factory wheels are included in the sale.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats upholstered in Agate leather with embossed Prowler logos on the seatbacks along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The AutoStick shifter allows manual gear selection for the automatic transaxle, and additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo paired with a CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an AutoMeter tachometer, and a body-color instrument panel houses a central 150-mph speedometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 3,400 miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. The selling dealer notes an improperly functioning tire pressure warning light.
The 3.5-liter V6 features an aluminum block and was factory rated at 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a torque tube and a rear-mounted four-speed automatic transaxle. A Borla exhaust system is fitted.
Manufacturer’s literature and accessories are included in the sale along with removed factory parts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Oregon since new. A gap between entries is present from May 2004 to April 2023.
