This 2009 Mosler MT900S is powered by a mid-mounted 7.0-liter Chevrolet LS7 V8 that features twin turbochargers, an intercooler, and dry-sump lubrication and is mated to a Porsche six-speed manual transaxle. Featuring carbon-fiber construction, the car is finished in metallic green over tan leather and is equipped with staggered-width Dymag carbon-fiber and magnesium wheels, ventilated and slotted disc brakes with six-piston calipers and adjustable bias, a Gibson quad-outlet exhaust system, an adjustable rear wing, fixed-back carbon-fiber seats, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a navigation system. The car is said to have been in storage for two years prior to the seller dealer’s 2022 acquisition, and a subsequent recommissioning included fluid changes, injector cleaning, and replacement of the fuel pump, turbocharger oil return pump, and battery. This MT900S shows approximately 700 miles and is now offered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with invoices from recent service and a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin.

Twin-Turbocharged 2009 Mosler MT900S

The MT900 was developed in the late-1990s by Mosler Automotive, an offshoot of Warren Mosler’s Consulier Industries, and debuted as a prototype in 2001 before entering production as the street-legal MT900S in 2005. Construction incorporated a carbon-fiber monocoque with chromoly steel front and rear subframes wrapped in a carbon-fiber body styled by Corvette C5 design-team member Ron Trenne.

This example is finished in metallic green with an exposed carbon-fiber rear diffuser, taillight and license plate recesses, nose air inlets, headlight buckets, and model designations. Design features include butterfly doors, a louvered removable nose panel with covered headlights, a roof-mounted air inlet, brake-cooling inlets on each flank, and a louvered rear canopy hosting a manually adjustable rear wing with carbon-fiber end plates. Imperfections include a crack in the windshield and delamination of the passenger-side headlight, and the clear paint-protection film over the nose is noted to exhibit aging.

Dymag wheels featuring carbon-fiber rims and black painted magnesium spokes were a factory option and measure 19” in diameter up front and 20” at the rear. Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 265/35 and 335/30 are mounted at front and rear, respectively. Steering is handled without power assistance, and the braking system incorporates dual master cylinders with adjustable front-rear bias, two-piece ventilated and slotted rotors, and black painted Wilwood six-pistons calipers. The master cylinders were replaced in June 2022, at which time a brake fluid flush was performed. The car is not equipped with ABS.

The cockpit houses bucket seats with fixed-back carbon-fiber shells wrapped in tan leather, which also covers the door panels, console, and dash. Exposed carbon fiber is visible in the footwells and on the sills and rear bulkhead. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and a JVC head unit with navigation and a subwoofer. The driver’s door lift-assistance shock was replaced in 2022, as were the driver-side window motor and passenger-side window regulator.

The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 210-mph speedometer and a 7,500-rpm tachometer flanking a configurable digital display. The digital odometer shows 681 miles, a few of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The mid-mounted 7.0-liter LS7 V8 features dry-sump lubrication, electronic sequential fuel injection, twin turbochargers under carbon-fiber covers, and a single intercooler with a Turbonetics blow-off valve. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a Porsche six-speed manual transaxle mounted in an inverted position behind the engine. Double-wishbone suspension incorporates heim-joint control arms, adjustable coilover shock absorbers, and adjustable anti-roll bars.

This car does not have a title as it has never been sold to a private party owner. It is being offered with its Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.
