English: Buddy-buddy refueling is when a non specialist tanker aircraft, usually a fighter or attack aircraft, is used to refuel another fighter or attack aircraft, its buddy. This is done by the carriage of an external refueling pod, and transfer of fuel from its own internal fuel tanks, fuel from drop tanks and if it has a bomb-bay, fuel instead of bombs in the bomb bay.
