The 2010 Mosler MT900S is a mid-engined track supercar produced by Mosler from 2003 to 2010.

George Lucas took delivery of the first MT900S in December 2006.[1]

Overview[edit | edit source]

The MT900S's name stands for Mosler, Rod Trenne, the car's target weight of 900 kilograms (1,984 lbs), and Supercharged (referring to the car's supercharged engine).

Technical specifications[edit | edit source]

The MT900S uses a 7,011 cc (7 L; 427.8 in3) supercharged LS7 V8, making 530 hp (537 PS; 395 kW) and 515 ft·lb (698 N·m) of torque.[2][3]

The MT900S has a weight rating of 2,480 lb (1,125 kg), resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 471 hp (478 PS; 351 kW).[2][3]

The MT900S is capable of reaching in 3.1 seconds, 100 mph (161 km/h) in 6.5 to 7.1 seconds, and a redline limited top speed of 288 km/h (179 mph), although this is considerably higher in the Forza games, exceeding 205 mph (330 km/h).

Design[edit | edit source]

The Mosler MT900S takes on a mid-engined design inspired by that of the McLaren F1, including a roof scoop similar to the latter's, as well as headlights and taillights inspired by the Chevrolet Corvette (C5). It has a fixed rear wing and a louvered rear engine cover.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The Mosler MT900S generally serves as a leaderboard dominator, reaching the top of various leaderboards, ranging from circuits to Speed Traps and Speed Zones.

'[edit | edit source]

  • The MT900S has multiple engines allowing it to take on a variety of disciplines:
    • The 8.4L V10 swap from the Dodge SRT Viper GTS allows it to compete in Class S2.
    • The 6.5L V12 L539 swap from the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 allows it to reach a speed of 483 km/h (300 mph), making it the second car in the Forza series to exceed that figure, following the Jaguar D-Type in Forza Horizon 3.
      • With the MT900S's aforementioned 483 km/h (300 mph) top speed, it is the second fastest car in the game, behind the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione with 520 km/h (323 mph).
    • The Tipo F130B 4.7L Racing V12 swap from the Ferrari F50 GT turns the MT900S into a Speed Zone king and a handling powerhouse that can beat even the Apollo Intensa Emozione and 599XX Evo.
    • Finally, the Racing 7.2L V8 swap from the RJ Anderson Pro 2 Truck enables it to dominate virtually any race route, as it is a mix of the Racing V12 and 6.5L V12 in that it inherits the former's superb handling and high-speed grip and the latter's high top speed. In essence, the Mosler MT900S with the Racing 7.2L V8 swap is a Class X Road Racing king.
  • In Class X, the MT900S is widely considered one of the best cars in the game, ahead of the Maserati MC12 Versione Corsa, Maserati MC12 Forza Edition, Apollo Intensa Emozione (except on handling-focused tracks), Porsche 911 GT3 RS PreOrder Car (991.1), McLaren 720S Coupé PreOrder Car, Koenigsegg CCGT, and McLaren Senna, and only behind the 599XX Evo.
  • However, because of how fast the MT900S can go, as well as its extreme grip, the player must be careful to properly tune the car and drive it properly so as to avoid oversteering, especially in the northwest area of The Goliath that is filled with some dangerous corners.
  • The MT900S already has adjustable downforce and springs from the get go, completely eliminating the need to add the standard Race Rear Wing and Race Front Bumper upgrades.
