Jeremiah Jason Malachi Nelson was born January 19, 2002 in Claremore and was raised in Chelsea where he attended school. He passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 25, 2017 in Rogers County near Chelsea.

He loved playing football with his brothers, fishing for anything that would bite, and deer hunting with his dad. Jeremiah spent countless hours welding with his dad and he loved traveling in the big rig from state to state with his grandfather, also known as “Pops.” He was also known to be quite a momma’s boy, always spending time with his mother at the end of each day.

Jeremiah had an infectious smile and a goofy wit about his personality. He was very outgoing, always striving to make other people happy. Jeremiah loved to play pranks on his Uncle Paul, often forgetting to tell him it was a prank! He worked daily with his Uncle Tuck training in the arts of Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Jeremiah was looking forward to his first fight at the age of six-teen. Uncle Tuck and Uncle Jon Ross were Jeremiah’s idols.

Surviving family members include his parents, Christi and Mike Wise; his father, Jeremy Nelson; three brothers: Austin, Keegan, and Antoney; three sisters: Izabela, Nevaeh, and Ella; his nephew, Jon Michael; grandparents: Victoria Meisner, Richard and Rita Wise, Karen Nelson, and Kenneth Nelson; his great grandmothers, Lois Harrison and Barbara Nelson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Jeremiah also leaves behind a host of great friends for which he would have done anything.

Services honoring and remembering his life of will be held 2 PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Chelsea. Interment will follow in the Snider Cemetery.
