Some Barbour coats are OK if you're on a budget.

-Helmet, get whatever looks cool that is rated DOT or above.

-Jacket, get whatever looks cool, but it should have foam armor in the elbows shoulders and a back protector.

-Gloves, get nice ones, like alpinestars or sidi

-Pants, leather with armor is best, but they make kevlar riding jeans with armor in them that look good, not as safe as leather though.

-Boots, they make plenty that look good, just buy from a good company and make sure they are above ankle.


Craigslist is your friend, buy used.

Do not buy used helmets. You won't know what condition they're in or if they were in a wreck. the other stuff used is alright.
