WWE star Maryse Ouellet Mizanin’s motto? Go big or go home.
The Canadian wrestler, 37, is “obsessed” with the holidays — and puts husband Mike “The Miz” Mizanin through the wringer by decorating their house with a Christmas tree in every room.
“My house is ridiculous. I go completely crazy and really overboard. I know I do, but at least I own it,” Mizanin told Page Six Style.
This year, she made her husband miserable when she purchased a Cinderella carriage “the size of a car” and made him pick it up in two trips with a U-Haul truck.
Despite her obsession with creating a magical Christmas wonderland for her family — which includes daughters Monroe, 2, and Madison, 1 — Mizanin refuses to ask for any presents for Christmas. This makes Mike’s job even harder, and has resulted in some interesting gifts over the years.
“The weirdest thing I’ve ever gotten has to be when Mike gave me a star in the universe,” the blond bombshell told us.
“He went on Groupon and saw that there was a deal for a star and the star has my name and he gave me a frame with the latitude and longitude. I have the frame in my office and people ask me what it’s about.”
Laughing, she added, “He also got me a piece of land on Mars, like 10 acres. I’m like, ‘Yeah, maybe if we go live in space, I already own land.'”
The family’s wild antics are chronicled on their USA show “Miz and Mrs,” a spinoff of “Total Divas.” The series also gives fans a peek at how Maryse created her new Yaupon Tea Glow-Awakening Moisturizer ($39) with clean beauty brand Volition, as seen in Page Six Style’s exclusive clip below.
“When I was in Austin, Texas, I went to this café with my husband. I’m obsessed with caffeine and drinking 25 cups of coffee a day — that’s my thing, I’m always walking around with a coffee,” she told us. “Their main thing was Yaupon tea, and that’s obviously very different from what I usually drink. But I really liked the way it made me feel inside.”
Continued the star, “Coffee gives you that crash that Yaupon tea doesn’t. Just like that I thought, ‘What if I could create something that makes my face, my skin, feel as energized as my body feels when I drink Yaupon tea?’ And that was it. That was the beginning of everything.”
Her gel-like moisturizer also includes bakuchiol — a naturally derived retinol alternative — plus plant-derived hyaluronic acid and witch hazel.
While Mizanin is religious about washing her face every night before bed — even once waking up in the middle of the night to shower on the sole occasion she was too tired for her usual pre-bed routine — the star is also obsessed with makeup. And her secret beauty tip for the wrestling ring? Really strong eyelash glue.
“Do you know how many times I pulled my opponents’ eyelashes through the years? Pulling hair is fine, but there’s just something really awkward and cringe-y about seeing a lash come out,” she said.
