Kelly Osbourne denies ‘weird’ plastic surgery rumors, defends weight loss surgery

Kelly Osbourne is doubling down on her claim that she’s never had any plastic surgery.

The reality star snapped back at criticism of her dramatically changed appearance during a new interview with her mother, Sharon Osbourne.

“It’s weird, because now that I’ve lost weight, everybody is criticizing and trying to figure out what it is that I’ve done, and I really just lost some weight,” Kelly, 38, told The Daily Mail, insisting, “It’s just the shape of my face!”

The denial came after fans on social media started expressing puzzlement over the “Dancing With the Stars” alum’s evolving visage.

“I have not been able to understand this change in Kelly, it is that it is not only thinness, it seems as if her face has also changed!!! It is that she does not even see her features anywhere !!!” one person wrote in the comments section of a recent pic Kelly shared via Instagram.

“All that plastic surgery,” added another.

Back in 2020, the “Osbournes” alum shared that her dramatic weight loss – around 85 pounds – was due in part to gastric sleeve surgery, which she had done “about two years” prior.

“I had surgery, I don’t give a f–k what anyone has to say,” she said on the “Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn” podcast.

“I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck s–t.”

Kelly was quick to note that the bariatric procedure is part of a weight loss approach that includes a changed diet and exercise.

“The kind of surgery I had … if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight,” she explained.

“The Fashion Police” alum also defended her decision to undergo surgery in a bid to lose weight.

“Everyone knows that I had weight loss surgery, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. But there’s this whole thing about it, ‘Well, you didn’t do it the right way.’ There is no right way,” she said.

“The road to happiness is different for everybody, and I think that instead of picking apart the journey, they should just be happy that you reached your destination.”

It’s been a busy year for the media personality, as she also gave birth to her son, Sid, six months ago.

Last month, she revealed that she “hid” while pregnant with her baby boy – whom she shares with Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson – because she didn’t want to face any criticism about her appearance.

“There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for nine months because I did not want to get fat shamed,” she wrote on social media when asked if she used a surrogate.

Kelly has also been open about her struggles with sobriety, revealing in 2021 that she had relapsed after nearly four years in recovery.
