Pro snowboarder Clair Bidez posed for the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue, traveling to Whistler, Canada alongside photographer Warwick Saint. While the athlete was on track to compete in the Winter Olympics that year, a persistent ankle injury led to her retirement.

While on location with the SI Swimsuit team, Bidez mixed her typical ski gear—including boots, furry jackets and mittens—with several red and white bikinis. She donned her color-coordinated looks on the slopes, where Bidez posed with her snowboard in several pics, frolicked on a snowy mountaintop in others and sat atop a ski lift for a few snaps. She also donned a red one-piece and matching rubber boots to pose alongside an aircraft on the water.

That same year, freestyle skier Lacy Schnoor, snowboarder Hannah Teter and skier Lindsey Vonn were also photographed for the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue in the same snowy location ahead of the Vancouver Winter Games.

Today, Bidez is retired from her sport and works as a research analyst. The 36-year-old Colorado native has not been active on Instagram in several years, but typically shared content from the slopes and fun adventures with friends.

Below are five of Bidez’s best SI Swimsuit photos from her feature in Whistler.
