Paula Aguiar is the current Director of Argentina at DCH. Paula has held this position for 3 years and 4 months. Prior to their current role, Paula was the HR Director South Latam at Thomson Reuters for 15 years and 9 months. In this role, Paula was responsible for the areas of Employment, Training, Change Management, and Quality of Life. As an HRBP, Paula was responsible for defining the new structure of the area, its roles, responsibilities, and processes in order to position RHO as a strategic partner of the business. Paula also oversaw the management of labor relations in the aspects inherent to the RHO Development strategy in order to increase the operational efficiency of the contracted staff. Furthermore, Paula administered the processes of organizational structure and culture, benefits policy, internal communication, performance evaluation, succession planning, and workplace climate. Some of Paula's key accomplishments include being a member of the Board as a Titular Director and leading the creation of a new Training Center for Technical Personnel (Investment of ARS M 5.6) which allowed for the annual training of more than 1,500 network operators. Paula also redesigned the Training Itineraries (420 hours of training) with the certification of internal and external instructors. Lastly, Paula implemented a Literacy Plan that supported 60 operators who were unable to access proper schooling by providing them with cognitive skills for reading and writing. After leading the Transformation Plan in complementary fashion with their role as Manager of Fiscal Strategy, Paula was recruited by the Country Manager to be part of RHO's leadership team as a result of their participation in the project. As Head of Taxation and Fiscal Strategy for ENEL Group's companies in Argentina, Paula was responsible for advising on all tax-related matters. Some of their key accomplishments in this role include defining a strategic legal and tax planning based on tax jurisprudence that generated significant savings in the payment of Income Tax. Paula also generated improvements in the financial position of the company through the planning of a tax deferral with a direct impact on Cash Flow. Lastly, Paula consolidated the work team by professionalizing the area and generating engagement which led to obtaining the lowest turnover rate of AFC's Direction.
