USAC internships abroad are a great way to enhance your educational experience. Participating in a structured work or research experience with an international organization, whether in-person or virtually, will help you gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while expanding your professional network and immersing yourself in the workplace culture of Italy.
A $985 internship placement fee will be required of all students participating in an in-person USAC internship. This fee helps offset the costs of securing quality internship placements and helps provide a range of professional development activities, including an online internship seminar, career workshops, and panel discussions.

Business

A fashion design and manufacturing workshop involved in every step of the creative process and dedicated to the creation of high quality, comfortable, and versatile fashion.

- Create handmade clothing from the design to the final product and better understand the fashion industry in Italy
- Gain hands-on experience in various stages of design and production, including working with fabrics, learning how to sew buttons, sleeves, skirts, and many other elements in various styles of clothing.

A studio that designs and creates furniture and home accents with a focus on sustainable materials and artisinal production. The architects and designers of the studio make equipment, materials, and skills accessible to the public through their makerspace and by organizing courses and events on environmental sustainability.

Health and Wellness
The Italian national society of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) that acts before, during, and after disasters and health emergencies to meet the needs and improve the lives of vulnerable people without discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class, or political opinions.

- Learn the history and the fundamental principles of the Red Cross, the basics of international humanitarian law and the functions of the Torino branch
- Learn the basics of first aid and successfully pass a proficiency test

- If schedules allow, students may complete a second level of training and to assist an ambulance crew
