Full color 9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ ad for True Filter Cigarettes. In this ad there is a picture of a giant pack of the True cigarettes lying on it’s side with several of the cigarettes protruding from the pack. The ad tells us that “Here’s your chance to compare your cigarette against True for both tar and nicotine”. The text lower in the ad claims that “Chances are there’s an ad for your cigarette in this magazine. So just tear out the coupon below and check your numbers with True’s. You’ll be surprised at how low True’s numbers really are. But, after all, True is lowest in both tar and nicotine of the 20 best-selling cigarettes – Regular and Menthol”. At the bottom of the ad, it is showing a pack of the Menthol cigarettes. It also has a Tear and compare coupon at the bottom of the page which has the Tar and Nicotine numbers on it, so you could compare these numbers with your cigarettes.
