An unprinted card made of fine, thick wove paper, signed and dated in ink by biochemist Hans von Euler-Chelpin (1873-1964), winner of the 1929 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his research on the fermentation of sugar and enzymes. From the collection of Manuel Ruano Sánchez. 7.5 x 12.5 cm. Minor glue remains on verso, otherwise in perfect condition. A very striking signature. Euler-Chelpin was the great-great-great-grandson of Leonard Euler, and his son Ulf won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1970. Seller Inventory # 38965
