A day with strong colors: a day with Franco Fontana
Posted on May 28, 2013
I had the lucky chance to be part of a day-workshop with the master “Franco Fontana” during Fotoincontri 2013 in San Felice sul Panaro.
Fontana is one of the greatest photographer and artist we have in Italy.
I admire him and his works from a long time. I find his compositions perfect and the photos are vibrant with the use of strong colors.
His works transmit emotions and energy. The photographs of Fontana are unique and reflect a personal view of the reality.
During the day of the workshop, every entrant had to photograph around the city of San Felice following a theme choosed by ourself: everyone infact had to give a title of one iconic photo of Fontana, that title was then the subject of our photo.
I had choose the title “untitled” so my research was just based about forms and colors I’ve seen around in San Felice.
Was a pleasure to be a full day with Franco Fontana, his speach really rimind me that everyone has to follow the insinct of our own photography and just be ourself.
