Whenever any member of the Kardashian family shares photos with their millions of fans, we are used to pictures of them with faces full of flawless makeup and gorgeous hairstyles. But once in a while, they bless their millions of fans with throwback photos. To begin the new year, Kourtney Kardashian shared an Instagram carousel with six photos from a 2005 family trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Though most of the family looks practically the same, the most shocking part of the slideshow is the thick, side-swept bangs spotted on her sister Kim.
Kourtney posted six photos from the trip on January 4. The second and fourth pictures of the slideshow showcase Kim with those side bangs. The hairstyle is a very different look from her usual sleek, straight, and long hair. Her black hair is swept up into a messy bun with the side-swept bangs that cover the majority of her forehead. These bangs have a little bit of texture with a slight bump on the end and a longer wavy tendril of hair that lies around the ear area — so 2005.
In the fourth picture, those full side bangs are still there, but the bun is gone. Her hair is fully down, and we see more of what we are assuming is her natural hair texture. Her long, layered hair is full of waves.

Though these days, Kim's hair is perpetually styled without a single strand out of place, we love to see the star with this wavier texture. Maybe this photo set will inspire her to share some throwback pictures of her own or even recreate this wavy texture.
