I actually used this with screw-in buttons to support the headliner in an aging car... not a typical application. I used narrower grosgrain ribbon similar to this for the straps of Covid masks when they were scarce. This ribbon is reasonably sturdy and looks nice. The ends can be melted very slightly with a lighter or match flame so that they don't unravel. You get a lot of ribbon for a good price.
