I bought this for my wife. She loves the set. Stacks perfectly in our cupboard. The vessels heat evenly and quickly. The nonstick surfaces allow us to use less oil and they clean in a snap. The reason for the 4 stars is that the 6 quart stock pot is not perfectly round - has a flat spot. I contacted Calphalon to initiate a warranty replacement. They opened a case and asked for pictures. It remains to be seen if they replace the vessel, pay for return shipping costs, and how quickly they ship a replacement. I will update this review and increase the points depending on how they respond.
Update:
I called Calphalon Customer Service. The person I spoke with was very courteous and professional. She apologized for the problem I was having with the 6 quart stock pot. After reviewing the pictures I emailed to them she initiated a replacement stating that she will personally monitor the case to make sure that the replacement is promptly sent to me. She did not require that I ship the defective pot back to Calphalon. I am therefore increasing my point score from 4 to 5 since Calphalon stands behind its product, has outstanding customer service, increasing my confidence in the lifetime warranty that this set comes with.

BUYERS BEWARE!!
EDIT: One of the small pans and one of the medium pans handles came loose and cannot be tightened. Water gets in the handle and leaks out while cooking. The lids also retain water under the rims and constantly leak out, it’s super gross when you are using the lids and they leak dishwater into your food.Let me first start off by asking what is happening to amazon prime????? 90% of my items ordered this whole year have been late, like wildly late, as I write this I’m waiting over a week for something. This purchase was yet another late delivery but let me move on to the actual items.Quick back story, I have order 2 different, very expensive Sets of pots and pans from Amazon in the last two years. My husband and I cook a lot almost every single day so having good pots and pans is absolutely a must for us! It’s for that reason that with our recent bout of bad luck we decided to order these pans one at a time. We ordered our most commonly used size pans to test them out before ordering the whole set. After using them for about two weeks we decided that they held up very well and we would go ahead and drop the $400 it took to buy the entire set! Even though they arrived late I was excited to open the package only to be disappointed because one of the pans of was damaged. It wasn’t a scratch or a dent in the only way that I can describe it is a permanent indentation in the cooking side, I’ve attached a picture you can be the judge. After washing several times and setting it to soak in hot water it has not come off yet. I haven’t tried the dishwasher because I avoid putting my pots and pans in the dishwasher like the plague so for me it’s not even an option. So now we have one pan is already unusable. Upon using one of my pots to make SpaghettiOs, of all things, with a wooden spoon to stir I now have a pot that is riddled with scratches. I have contemplated sending back all of the pots and pans but I don’t have a box big enough or packaging material to make that happen. I’ll just move forward with this awful review in hopes that I help someone else make the right decision about their cookware. $400 is a lot of money to spend when you have two items that you can’t even use. I am cautious with my cookware in a way that no other avid home chef probably would be and yet they still didn’t hold up, so BUYERS BEWARE!
