The material is a knit jersey. Soft and minimum stretch definetely not lycra!
I am 5.3 and 165 pounds . Chose a xxl and it fits me perfectly because it needs to accomodate the largest part of my figure (top) according their size chart.
Thin but not transparent. Has zipper.
