I’m in my 30s and trying to take better care of my skin. This product is absolutely amazing. I’ve shunned sunscreen for a good bit of my life because I hate the white cast and the way it feels, especially when you have to put on a second coat. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever complain again. These are my holy grail sunscreens. The scent is strong and I’d love to see an fragrance-free one, but it doesn’t last long (10-15 minutes?), about as long as it takes to 100% dry down. Once rubbed in and absorbed it feels like nothing is there. I put the face one on and it looks AND FEELS like nothing is there.

As someone with a very extensive facial skincare routine, I was recently thinking about how nice it would be to have body serums similar to all the ones available for face care, rather than just using heavy lotions to moisturize my body. Hawaiian Tropic read my mind and the next time I went to re-up on my sunscreen I saw they were selling this serum as a new product, so I had to try. It is lightweight and feels great on my skin and definitely reminds me of my gel cream face moisturizers. I keep it in my car for when I need it on the go. I live in FL and driving around in the afternoon, the bright sun can feel like it is burning my skin through the car windows. So if I forget to put on sunscreen before I leave the house, I slap this stuff on at a red light and feel instant relief. I have also used it on my face with no issues, and I have incredibly sensitive skin. Another great product from HT, will buy again.

This is my holy grail. I love dewy, glowy sunscreens. This one leaves an amazing glow without being heavy or giving me acne or feeling “wet.” It feels like a very thick serum, has a light coconut scent, doesn’t sting my eyes, NO WHITE CAST, and most importantly doesn’t pill with other serums or foundation! I literally can’t wait to put this on every day. The BEST, affordable American sunscreen I have ever tried, hands down. It says for body but I only use this one my face and it is not heavy at all. I love the SPF 70 from this brand but this is even more comfortable on the face for everyday use.

I don’t mind the Hawaiian Tropics scent as it’s pleasant. This one smells way too strong however, to the point that it gave me a headache. This is really unfortunate as the formulation, price and packaging are superb.

Please make a version with alcohol if you want to keep the excellent finish, but the scent has got to go. An alternate version with an inversed color scheme marketed as fragrance free would be a smash hit.
