This battery fits perfectly and charges fine on both of my UV9R Plus radios with OEM chargers that I purchased from Mirkit. I believe that if you purchase items and radios from an authorized USA Baofeng distributor such as Mirkit, you should not have any issues. I will update this review if the batteries fail prematurely. One drawback is that I didnt find the actual amp-hr rated batteries that came with my radios but these should perform well enough for a back up situation. Will purchase these again.

The battery does not fit perfectly in the UV-9RPlus.
The battery only fit using force and after it fit, it doesn't disengage anymore.
As I need the radio for this weekend, and it worked, I preferred not to return it, but as soon as I can I'll buy another one.
In the pictures I put the battery that came with my UV-9Rplus and the one I just bought.

The battery I received did not fit my UV-9R Plus. Not sure if there was a slight change in the case design, so for reference, I received my radio the same day from another seller on Amazon. S/N starts with 19UV9R... so that might mean it’s a 2019 model? I was, however, able to file the plastic on the battery where it was interfering, and it now works ok. This replacement is a little thicker than the original battery, but seems to fit snug now. Fits the charger fine.
