First, let me say the Instruction Manual is "Wrong" telling you to put 80 to 90 weight gear oil in the gear case. You can do it with a 50cc syringe after taking the grease fitting out, but what is needed is Heavy Duty Gear Grease... not oil which will just leak out quickly.
The Seller, Neotec, worked with me very kindly and courteously, talking with their engineers of the product. They saw that the instructions were wrong and said to use Grease, not oil. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake I did. I've asked Neotec to change their Manual.
Now for the Auger. It is a great Auger with plenty of horse power, and the speed of the drill is reduced to the "perfect" speed to dig and not break your arm if you hit a root. Very impressed with the speed. The drills are Heavy Duty metal with changeable blades for cutting and a changeable screw on point to break through hard dirt and clay. I have seen other drills that are made of thin cheap metal that won't last, but Neotec's drills are definitely heavy duty.
The Seller bent over backwards to help me, assuring me that if the grease didn't work, he would return my full amount of purchase price. Very honorable Seller.
Wish we had more Sellers with this kind of integrity, that produce a good strong long lasting product. If they had a rating of 10 Stars, they would get 10 from me.
