Decorator Isabel López-Quesada designed the oak four-poster and Parsons-style mirrored nightstand in the master bedroom of her Madrid villa. The painted table is 18th-century Swedish, and the velvet-covered chaise longue is draped with a colorful suzani.

The Hunt Slonem painting *Gilt Bunny,*set on a vintage Arredoluce lighted easel, takes pride of place in the garden room off the terrace at hairstylist Guido Palau’s New York City home, which was decorated by Robert Passal. A custom-made chaise in a Pierre Frey fabric is paired with a graffitied ceramic stool by Reinaldo Sanguino.

At a Los Angeles house built by architect Michael Lehrer and decorated by JoAnne Brosnahan of Unique Custom Interiors, the master suite’s bed, nightstands, and chaise longue were all custom made. A Jim Thompson silk was used for the headboard, duvet, and shams, while a Kravet fabric covers the chaise.
