Shavonzail Camp was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. For many years Shavonzail knew she was gifted but, never used them to there full potential. After overcoming many life challenges from childhood sexual abuse, abusive relationships, drug ad alcohol addiction.In March of 2012 was the turning point in her life.While being in an unhealthy relationship, she found that channeling her feelings in writing was a way to release her feelings while strengthening herself as a woman. In October of the same year, she went through a life changing transition after living an alternative lifestyle for 19 years that involved that previous 4 years of physical, mental, emotional, and financial abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and serving time for 1½ years.Shavonzail credits God and the deliverance she received by giving Him her life as having helped her overcome the many things that may have otherwise taken her out and short changed her destiny. As Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for your life, plans to prosper you, not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.The prophetic words and lyrics she writes in songs and on the pages of her books she believes will cause people to want to know God; for sickness to be healed, for broken hearts to heal, for relationships to mend, and for the change to happen in peoples’ lives, all to God’s glory.She believes God has blessed her with something most people would be ashamed of. However, her transparency about her life draws people to her and in those moments, God gives her the ability to share the love of God with them and the message that transition can be easy when you allow the Holy Spirit to take full control of your life.One of Shavonzail favorite sayings is, “Don’t abort the process",Her relationship with God, and the gifts of prophetic song and writing that he has placed within her, which she chooses to use for His glory, keeps her motivated.
