Frontispiece and 36 other fine plates, protected with tissue; 190 in-text figures. 408 pages in all, very handsomely bound in 2 volumes in full brown morocco with ornate gilt-decorated spine and covers; ornate leather doublures and red silk endpapers (some light shelfwear overall; second volumes is darkened and damaged in two areas on rear cover). London: William Heinemann, 1896. Limited edition -- number 24 of only 100 copies on Japan vellum. A very good(+) copy.<br/><br/>
