Product Information

Angelique Boyer essays the title role in this Spanish-language telenovela that originally aired on the Univision network. It actually constitutes a remake of the 1989 telenovela TERESA, which starred a young Salma Hayek. In the new version, Teresa is a selfish and conniving young woman driven almost exclusively by greed. Though she was raised by kind, decent, loving parents who tried to build the best life for her that they possibly could, Teresa would much rather lie, cheat and manipulate her way to success than find and hold down an honest job. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Mariano, stands behind her; he's deeply and sincerely in love, but she perceives and treats him as a tool whom she can use to achieve her nefarious ends. Co-stars include Aarón Díaz and Sebastián Rulli.

    A soap opera that will drive you crazy with its twists and turns.

    My wife has developed a love/hate relationship with most of the characters and especially Theresa. Being bi-lingual in Spanish it is a treat to view these telenovelas in their original language, for me the subtitles help when words are used that I am unfamilar with. Like many soap operas developed over time, there is a full spectrum of character development sometimes tender, sometimes hateful, sometimes wicked and sometime loveable but always entertaining. Teresa is just as watchable as Ruby.

    Awesome price. Hours of entertainment. A must see.

    Interesting Novela. It is different than our regular ones where the protagonist is such a good person and everything bad happens to them. I love that Teresa is so ambitious and gets what she wants, although at the end she looses. Reminds me so much of Rubi. I actually bought this for my daughter so far she is enjoying it.
