Her Hips Don't Lie! Shakira is one of the Most Talented Singers & Dancers I have Ever seen
I remember the first time I caught sight of a Shakira performance. I was flipping channels and caught sight of her on one of the music networks. I stopped and watched, and became an instant fan. Since then, whenever Shakira performs in NEW YORK CITY at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN I make every attempt to get there and watch her. She is talented, beautiful, has an amazing sense of humor. I keep hoping that she will perform here again. I would love to get her autograph in person.I remember the first time I caught sight of a Shakira performance. Shakira Unplugged you have to not only see it, but own it if you are a Shakira fun. I have had Shakira Unplugged on bootleg for quite sometime on VHS and now that I see there is a DVD out there I am going crazy. To all of you Shakira fans out there "It's Here!" She finally made it to DVD. What we all have been waiting for. I do prefer her latin albums rather than her English album for the simple reason that there was a loss of a latin rock like beat. It sounds too new age/pop (which is not bad,just different.) You have all her good stuff on "Shakira-MTV Unplugged". It is sort of a Best of Shakira. You get a piece from her previous two albums. And duh, this won an Emmy! of course it is good. If you call yourself a SHAKIRA fan, you have this disc in your collection. My overall review on ... Shakira Unplugged you have to not only see it, but own it if you are a Shakira fun. Fantastic Shakira Concert
This is a fantastic concert from beginning to end and captures Shakira's first mainstream appearance in the U.S. before she went to mega stardom. All songs are in Spanish, so for those who don't speak Spanish or appreciate songs in Spanish, it may not be someone's favorite; however, with that being stated, the music and concert in and of itself is truly entertaining.
