I had sand from a special beach to me and had a zillion questions about it earrings being made from it. Amy was great with all the back and forth and after she received the sand I sent to her, the earrings were turned around and got to me way quicker than I imagined! Plus they are beautiful and extremely special to me!

Designami (pr."design-ahmee") Handmade Jewelry is your go to place for unique, handcrafted nature inspired jewelry.

Designami began in 2006 when I received a gift card for my birthday to Michael's craft store. I bought some beads and thread and started making my own jewelry. Since then, I have grown my skills, product line, and found inner joy through the art of creation. Today, Designami is no longer a "hobby" or side job. It has blossomed and is now a full time business and is carried in several retail locations in Maine.

My jewelry is inspired by Maine's beauty from the flowers in bloom, to the colorful change in season from summer to fall, to the sands of the coastline. I specialize in nature inspired jewelry to include flower petal jewelry, leaf jewelry, sand jewelry all designed to capture Maine's seasons.

Here you can peruse a variety of designs and colors to meet all your fashion or gift giving needs. Designami Jewelry is a gift that's handmade, classic, and affordable little works of art.

I have recently moved to South Carolina and am getting established with my new Carolina line featuring South Carolina beach sand jewelry, long leaf pines, and Spanish Moss.

Custom orders also available to memorialize a loved one with flowers from their service that is used in jewelry.
