Look Inside Gigi Hadid's $4 Million New York Noho Apartment

New York City’s paparazzi have a new favorite stake-out.

Gigi Hadid, whose flawless features seem to grace every major magazine, ad campaign, and runway show, has moved into a new apartment on Noho’s trendy Bond Street. The chic bachelorette pad first hit the market for $4.675 million, but the young model snatched up the space for just shy of $4 million.

The 2,085-square-foot property features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms – perfect for the model and one roommate (dare we say, Zayn Malik?)

The architecture and interiors are sleekly designed by Selldorf, who worked with a theme of modern sophistication – perfect for a millennial social-media maven with 20.8 million Instagram followers. The apartment also follows a contemporary monochromatic palette of black, white, and beige.

The second-floor apartment opens into 10-foot 10-inch ceilings where mahogany-lined windows are eight feet in themselves. The mammoth windows expose every room to excellent natural light, but electronically-controlled shades and automated lighting control can help set a darker ambiance.

Perhaps most special is the chef’s kitchen, reflective from almost every surface – shiny marble countertops, shimmering handmade Dutch tiles, and silver appliances by Subzero, Miele, Wolf, and Gaggenau. The kitchen is also elegantly outfitted with lacquered Italian millwork and clean, angular cabinets.

Both bedrooms include pristine en suite bathrooms, also featuring large windows.

The private master bathroom, decked out in marble slabs from floor to ceiling, is dressed with a bloating tub, glass-enclosed shower, and lighting fixtures by Lefroy Brooks. Additionally, custom mahogany millwork crowns the vanity. For cold New York winters, heated floors give the room a cozy touch.

The building itself boasts a boutique lobby, concierge, storage units, and a fitness center that overlooks a sunken garden.

Though Hadid and on-again, off-again boyfriend Malik were eyeing a $6.495 million apartment at 10 Bond this past January, seven months later, Hadid’s new place is a smaller, cheaper room in the same building.

Now, her room offers direct elevator entry from the lobby – especially helpful after stalkers forced her to move out of her $2.5 million Bowery Street apartment after just six months. In attempt to keep her address clandestine this time, Hadid cleverly signed her lease under “G Angel LLC and Y Secret LLC” – “G” for Gigi, “Angel” for her Victoria’s Secret Angel status, and “Y” for her mother’s first initial – Yolanda Hadid from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Hadid earned just below last year’s $3.5 million cut off to make FORBES’ list of highest-paid models, but this new $4 million apartment shows that a lot can change in one year. The model, who turned 21 in April, is releasing a capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger this fall.
