Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have reached a settlement out of court in their divorce.
The former couple released a joint statement about the settlement to People.
"Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile but always bound by love," they said. "Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity."
Depp will reportedly pay Heard $7 million. Heard also filed papers in court to dismiss her domestic violence case against Depp.
The settlement comes a few days after a video was released showing Depp and Heard having a heated argument.
Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support. A few days later, Heard also filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp. She reportedly submitted a photo showing a bruise above her eye as evidence to the court.
Heard and Depp married in February 2015 after working together on The Rum Diaries.
