Her name pretty much says it all: Arizona Muse is an all-American girl who is serving as inspiration for a global who's who of photographers, stylists, and designers...and she's appeared more times in Vogue than any other model in 2011.
Fashionista took a tally of the magazine's favorite faces, and found that Arizona, with a whopping 220 appearances on its pages, is queen bee for 2011. Here's how they worked the numbers: "Not only must a models' appearances be plentiful, but the quality of those appearances must be stellar as well. This includes factors like only-girl editorials, the caliber of photographers they work with and editions they're in, and their number of overall pages. Arizona's scoresheet was predictably well-rounded. She worked with the best photographers, scored the most solo editorials and graced enough pages to fill an entire August issue all on her own (that's about 220 for those of you keeping track). She started the year with a bang by starring in only-girl editorials for Vogue China, Italia, Paris, UK and US, and that was in just one month!"
It's not secret Anna Wintour is a fan--in her editor's letter in February, she wrote, "When I look at Arizona, I see shadows of Linda Evangelista and Natalia Vodianova, but most of all I see her, a gorgeous, smart, grown-up. And how could anyone resist someone with that name?"
Or, let's get down to business here, those eyebrows!? With features that strong and a confidence that alluring, it's no wonder she's scored campaigns for Prada and Yves Saint Laurent, opened shows for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Miu Miu, and posed for photographers like Steven Meisel and Mario Testino. She also has an uncanny ability to look like a sex kitten, an angelic girl-next-door, or a sophisticated dame, all in the blink of an eye.
