Description

(Synonym: T. tricolorum), native to Chile and Bolivia. After a summer dormancy, this climber starts growing in October. The small hand-shaped leaves develop and grow throughout the winter. In April-May the edible flowers appear, which are red with black on the outside, the inside is yellow. Suitable for in a pot in a greenhouse, not hardy.
