Biography
Giulio Tremonti is the Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign and EU Affairs of Italy’s Chamber of Deputies.
He is a Member of the Italian Parliament since 1994.
He has been Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy and Finance, Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies.
A university professor since 1974, he was a full professor at the Faculty of Law at Pavia’s University and visiting Professor at the Institute of Comparative Law at Oxford University.
He is the President of Aspen Institute Italia.
Legal counsel before the Court of Cassation and senior partner of the Tremonti and Associates law firm.
