This DIY template is customizable and very simple to use. Easily edit your invitation in Canva using your electronic device. Once edited and downloaded, you can send it electronically.

Note: Best way to send our video invitation is through Facebook messenger, iMessage, WhatsApp, viber, email and the like. We do not recommend sending it as text message as most carriers has very small file size limit or data capabilities so it decreases the quality of the video making it blurry and unreadable. Another option if you want to send it as text message is to upload your video invitation to your Google Drive and just copy and text the link that will direct them to the video.

We recommend editing the template using a laptop or desktop computer. You can edit it using a phone, tablet or computer but is strongly recommend to edit the template using either a laptop or desktop computer because Canva’s mobile version is very limited and harder to work with.

Access Template: Go to your Email > Download PDF > Click the “Edit Template” button
Edit: Edit using Canva, to edit the text simply double click the text layer. To replace a photo (if applicable) simply drag and drop.
Export: Share > Download > Download

HOW TO ACCESS THE TEMPLATE?

HOW TO EDIT THE TEMPLATE?

To edit your template follow the following steps:
• Download your pdf file from your Email
• Open the PDF by double clicking it
• On the pdf click on “Edit Template” that will open the template on Canva.com on your browser
• If you don’t have a Canva account create your free and instant account.
• Now you can edit your template on Canva
• To edit the text: Double click a text layer and edit current text
• To replace an image: Click the “Uploads” tab, click “Upload Files” button then select file to upload. Now, drag and drop your image on top of the image you want to replace.


HOW TO EDIT A MULTI-LAYER TEXT?

*Some text layers usually the “Name” and “Age” might have 2 layers (A front layer and a back layer. It had to be done this way in order to achieve the effect on Canva).

To edit:
• To edit the front layer: Simply double click the text layer and edit it.
• To edit the back layer: Hover the mouse to either the left or right end of the text until you see a purple box, then double click and edit the text.

HOW TO KEEP THE MULTI-COLORED TEXT?

To keep the multi color letters you must highlight each letter individually then type the letter you want, repeat this process for each of the letters.

HOW TO SHARE A DIGITAL FILE?

To share your digital design follow the following steps:
• Click “share”
• Click “Download”
• On “File Type” select “MP4”
• Finally click “Download” to download your digital file
