Julia Mancuso: Five fast facts

Squaw Valley's Julia Mancuso will compete Friday in the women's downhill at the Alpine skiing world championships in Colorado, seeking her first gold medal at the worlds.

Mancuso was seventh in Thursday's final downhill training session, 1.38 seconds behind leader Anna Fenninger of Austria.

The 2015 worlds are Mancuso's fifth appearance at one of skiing's premier events.
