Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review yes O The best season this show has ever seen. I couldn't imagine a greater ending for this show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Viktor A The very end of the series was touching at the funeral seeing everyone together. Also the MULTIPLE cameos throughout the eighth season were so awesome. The moniter making Oliver realize he can't save himself was also a great episode with the groundhog day theme. The last episode also has one completely random flashback with oliver absolutely destroying a building full of goons that was some of the best action the show has to offer. That being said, the second to last episode is the worst in the entire series. It's like they tried to start a whole new show. The score is different, choreography dreadful and the acting is just horrible. Mia has always been bad in every scene she's been in but it gets cranked up to 11 here when they clearly try to take the series in some sjw woke direction by making her the new arrow. She simply doesnt have the size, strength, skill, or acting ability to be anything more than a one dimensional snooze fest pretenting to flip guys 4 times her size around a room. Oliver's death was so anticlimactic and forced i thought it was a dream sequence or he would be revived. The flash forwards in this season also got less and less interesting with each episode. At the end I was left not caring about a single one of the kids that couldnt even act. The whole crisis on infinite earth's was an interesting theory but the writing and acting from too many cast members made it bland, cheesey and forgettable. Generic demon ghosts and bat girl with red hair was just too much and the anti moniter turning big and defeated with a magic plot armor device was cringe. I did start to like the moniter more as the plot unfolded and we saw more of his back story. Overall the final season was a flop with desperate attempts to make an all female continuation that noone wanted. I just can't get over the fact they tried to use a series that's been on for so long to shoehorn in their woke spinoff that never happened. It's a shame they had to do that even though the show already had some great female characters (earth 2 laurel, Dina, felicity).. This series was in its prime when it was grounded in reality and focused on the original 2 teams instead of sacrificing story and depth for dull spinoffs and propaganda trains Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Cable B an Encore, a victory lap, this is this the second-best season of Arrow only just behind season 2. not to mention ending on a high note. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/27/23 Full Review Wyatt G Unnecessary, but fine. Not much to say besides they clearly wanted to connect it to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/10/23 Full Review Rustyn W the ending was perfect I can't stop rewatching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kat Hughes THN Though not quite perfect, this last season does a commendable job of tying up most lose threads, and paying respect to the hero whom spawned a legion of spin-offs shows. Rated: 3/5 Nov 13, 2020 Full Review Andrew Pollard Starburst Full of Easter eggs and nods 'n' winks that are utterly rewarding for long-time fans... gives a marvellous send-off to a show that will be remembered by genre fans for decades to come. Rated: 8/10 Jun 20, 2020 Full Review David Hogan hoganreviews.co.uk With most of the plot-threads already neatly wrapped up in the previous season, there wasn't much else to do but wait for the crossover and then call it a day. Rated: 3/5 May 5, 2020 Full Review Alan Boon Starburst Despite its shortcomings, Arrow has always been a worthwhile watch due to Stephen Amell's assured charisma in the role of Oliver Queen, and it's only right that the show is bowing out on its - and his - own terms. Rated: 7/10 Nov 13, 2019 Full Review Eric Joseph We Got This Covered Even with the sci-fi twist applied, Arrow is still the Arrow you've come to know and love after all these years. If anything, it's already proving to be a fitting end to an incredible journey. Rated: 9/10 Oct 12, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
