It is a big bowl designed for lovers, who can eat ice cream together and therefore provided with a big spoon. One of the first results of the F.F.F. (Family Follows Fiction) metaproject, an operation in the early 1990s that aimed to explore the affective structure of shapes and objects, starting from the idea of reproducing the object creation process followed by children and primitive cultures. The result is a family of playful objects reminiscent of fairytale characters: they offer attractive answers to everyday uses, they suggest mediation through playing, and they’re a bridge to the world of the imagination.

Miriam Mirri

Miriam Mirri is an Italian designer, born in Bologna. She lives and works in Milan where since 2010 her office is based. She studied design and communication at the Università del Progetto. She collaborated with several design companies; she worked with Stefano Giovannoni until 1999. In 2000 she began her freelance designer activity; she designed houseware, pets accessories, day and night objects, watches, complements and furniture collaborating among others with Alessi. She took part in national and international exhibitions. She has held design-workshop at the Università del Progetto and at the Domus Academy in Milan and presented her works at some design master course.
