Is the Bruno Mars Fortnite skin coming back?
Bruno Mars originally made his debut in Fortnite back in 2022 during the Silk Sonic Cup duo tournament. During the collaboration, the popular singer and fellow artist Anderson .Paak were made available as skins in the Battle Royale. Since the event ended, though, many players have been wondering when the Bruno Mars Fortnite skin would finally be available again in the game’s shop. However, a recent update may have given us a hint about his potential return.
At the time of writing, there is no release date for the Bruno Mars Fortnite Skin making its return. However, following the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Myths & Mortal, Epic Games created LEGO Fortnite Skin variants for Bruno Mars and Paak. That means players who own the Silk Sonic Duo will be able to play the iconic singers in the game’s popular LEGO building mode. Because of this recent update, many players have speculated that the Bruno Mars Fortnite skin could return soon.
While there isn’t a set date or official confirmation, it’s likely that the singer will be available again during Chapter 5 Season 2 given the update with his character for LEGO Fortnite. Looking at past collaboration releases, it’s not uncommon for Epic Games to re-debut a skin when it’s received a variant update. Not to mention, almost all skins eventually make their return in Fortnite.
Since his debut in 2022, it has been over 500 days since the Bruno Mars skin was available. So, with the singer getting the LEGO Fortnite variant treatment in this latest update, we could see him return soon in Chapter 5, Season 2. However, it should also be pointed out that nothing is guaranteed until Epic Games themselves announce it. Still, there’s hope, right?
