And plants a smacker on Yoshi!

Diva and WWE NXT host Maryse publicly dumped on-screen boyfriend Ted DiBiase in this week's episode of NXT. Beginning the opening segment she announced that in response to the ultimate made to her by DiBiase last week, she would rather choose NXT over him, claiming that she has dated many millionaires before the 'Fortunate Son' and she will have many more. The main in-ring event this week centred around the two men on the show vying for her affections, Pro Yoshi Tatsu and rookie Lucky Cannon. The contest did not last long, as the Japanese Superstar took control and then hit the spinning hell kick from the turnbuckle to pick up the victory. Maryse, who was ringside for the contest then entered the squared circle and began talking trash to Cannon before proceeding to plant a kiss on Tatsu, who went wild with excitement after it dawned on him what had just happened. This was not the only match of the night as there were two other singles contests.

Redemption

Titus O'Neil picked up another win against Darren Young, this time with the help of his pro Hornswoggle, who distracted Young and allowed O'Neil to roll him up for the victory. Afterwards, however, Young blew a fuse and after downing O'Neil set his sights on the Irish Pro, but surprisingly Chavo Guerrero came to Hornswoggle's rescue and acted as peacemaker, allowing him to escape unharmed. O'Neil also picked up some more redemption points in the staple challenge of every season - the 'power of the punch' challenge. He amassed a whopping 801 points to add four points to his redemption total of 13, far ahead of Young in second on seven. This lead is likely to give him immunity from the first elimination of NXT: Redemption over the next couple of weeks. Jacob Novak also picked up a win over Byron Saxton thanks to a Big Boot in the vein of Ex-Superstar Test. Don't miss SmackDown this week, after the shocking news from Monday Night Raw regarding Edge's retirement, the show will need to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion as the Rated R Superstar forfeits the belt. You can catch it on Friday Night at 10pm on Sky Sports HD4/4.
