Chick-fil-A Just Announced A Berry Exciting Seasonal Drink—And They’re Testing A New Sandwich

Spring in the South is a beautiful thing, with blooms waking up in our gardens, a fresh round of seasonal ingredients (hello, asparagus), and holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day to celebrate with those you love. We also get to explore fun new menu items at some of our favorite Southern chains, like adorable themed doughnuts at Krispy Kreme and—hot off the presses—a pretty-in-pink drink lineup at Chick-fil-A.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based fast food chain just announced their newest “Cherry Berry” beverage flavor, which will be served up in Chick-fil-A stores across the country beginning April 8. This bright and refreshing spring drink lineup combines cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors in several delicious options:

• Cherry Berry Sunjoy: Chick-fil-A Lemonade + fresh-brewed sweet tea with cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
• Cherry Berry Lemonade: Chick-fil-A Lemonade and cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
• Cherry Berry Iced Tea: Chick-fil-A’s fresh-brewed iced tea (sweet or unsweet) with cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
• Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade: Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) + Icedream dessert with cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors

“Since introducing seasonal beverages in 2017, our guests have shown continued enthusiasm for new flavors and variety, especially bright, sweet beverages that sit so well alongside our classic menu items,” said Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A. “We’re thrilled to unveil Cherry Berry as our fifth Sunjoy variation—the perfect accompaniment to our Chick-fil-A Strips and ideal for enjoying during a sunny Spring picnic or as a mid-afternoon carline snack!”

Cherry Berry is the fifth seasonal flavor from Chick-fil-A, following the lead of Watermelon Mint, Cloudberry, White Peach, and Mango Passion. If you’re a dedicated fan with Chick-fil-A One Red or Signature member status, you can enjoy exclusive early access to Cherry Berry through the app on April 5 and 6.

In addition to this berry delicious beverage news, the chain also announced that they are testing a new limited-time sandwich exclusively at participating stores in Raleigh, North Carolina beginning April 8. Meet the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich: a boneless chicken breast (fried, grilled, or spicy) served on a warm pretzel bun with lettuce, tomato, soft seasoned cheddar cheese, crispy strips of applewood smoked bacon, and a Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce on the side. Count us in!

The culinary test in Raleigh will use feedback to determine if the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich will make the cut for stores nationwide.
