Point of View with Video Clips - Google Drive Compatible

Teach your students the different points of view found in literature with this engaging lesson and activity! If there’s one thing I know about students, it’s that they love to watch videos in class any chance they get. Your students will LOVE learning about point of view by watching clips of famous narrations from movies and TV. 

This lesson includes a presentation for direct instruction, teaching students about the most common points of view seen in literature: first-person, second-person, third-person limited, and third-person omniscient. 

After students learn about the different points of view, they will get the chance to practice identifying the point of view in a variety of video clips (all linked in the presentation). After each clip, students will hold up a sign to identify the point of view they saw used. Then, students will explain their answer using evidence from the clip.  

This product was created and is available to you on Google Drive. Therefore, you can revise the Slides as needed for your specific classroom needs.
