A Facebook event is getting some traction online.

The event page calling for streakers to come out to Pier Park in Panama City Beach, that’s right… streakers.

The event is named “The first annual nude streaking of Pier Park” and is set to happen this upcoming Sunday at 11 p.m. However, city and pier park officials said this is the work of internet trolls.

While the event may look legitimate because it says it’s hosted by an organization, it’s not.

Panama City Beach Police Chief Drew Whitman said he became aware of the situation and immediately alerted the city manager. They say they are currently monitoring the social media page.

A spokesperson with Pier Park released this statement:

“This event has not been sanctioned or approved by Pier Park. We are working with the Panama City Beach Police Department to ensure that organizers know this and all further inquiries should be addressed to the Panama City Beach Police Department. As always, we are committed to providing a safe and secure shopping environment for our shoppers, retailers, and employees.”
