This is the latest and greatest ride from American super car manufacturer Mosler, but like all the best cars it is available only in Europe. That's fitting, because this 600 horsepower beast should be right at home on der autobahn.

The car is saddled with the improbably long name MT900 GTR XX, the XX denoting the firm's 20th anniversary. In honor of that occasion, the Florida company made the already quick MT900 even quicker. The first of them will be delivered to some extremely wealthy customers later this year.

mosler_mt900_021The GTR XX is big, it's yellow and it's really, really fast. We're sure it would be a blast to drive. Power comes from a 7.0-liter Chevrolet engine stuffed into a carbon fiber and Kevlar chassis. Zero to 62 mph comes in just 3 seconds. Keep the pedal pinned to the floor and you'll reach 124 mph in 8.7 seconds on your way to a claimed top speed of 211 mph.

Things are no less entertaining when the road gets twisty. The suspension offers more adjustment than a chiropractor and Mosler says this thug of a machine will pull more than 1.1g on the skidpad wearing street tires.

"Total performance has always been of the upmost importance to Mosler Automotive, and the MT900 GTR XX exemplifies our commitment to the fundamentals of performance technology,” company president Warren Mosler said in a statement. Who are we to argue?

The car recently cleared Europe's grueling emissions and safety testing and is ready for sale "in nearly all European and United Arab Emirate countries," the company said.

Those are the only places you can buy a GTR XX, which carries a list price of €250,000 ($348,000). That's sad, because when it comes to American supercars, Mosler is among the few flying the flag. It's shame Mosler's flagship isn't available in the U.S. of A.
