Police said detectives determined that 21-year-old Adam Rosenberg (pictured below) was responsible for the homicide of 28-year-old Jeremy Dentel. Rosenberg was taken into custody at his home in Fox Chapel and has been charged with criminal homicide, robbery, firearm violations and tampering with evidence.
He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
Dentel was found in his house on Vernon Avenue in Baldwin Borough. The medical examiner said Dentel had been shot in the head.
Police said Dentel was last seen at 8 p.m. Friday, and investigators have determined that he was using messaging apps until 6 p.m. Saturday.
"Detectives also learned there was a heavy set white male in the area at the same time and date," police said.
