Rehcorb – Simulascrum EP [Lescale Recordings]

Lescale Recordings welcomes Rehcorb [Venus Club], the DJ and producer from the South of France, now based in Paris, who has developed her musical taste over the years and now, her more recent productions can be described as dub and atmospheric.

On Simulascrum EP, she goes for an inspiring combination of breakbeat and techno vibes. The opener ‘2020’ features a 2-step style breakbeat with a subtle and electro groove. ‘Voldo’s Dance’ follows on nicely, continuing the breakbeat vibe, with a power bassline coupled with hypnotic sounds.

Halfway through the set, Rehcorb brings out the acid feel with ‘Temper 14’, spacey and dynamic, blends driving drums with robotic synths over a rhythmic beat. The last track, ‘Simulascrum’, completes the journey with style and incorporates a dark bass and techy hooks laced throughout. A highly percussive break with full-sounding beats!
